Who doesn’t like a good pie? Sweet or savory, anything filled with yummy goodness always works for me. I could eat an apple pie or pizza pie anytime of day.
Cookbooks aren’t the only way to go anymore, the only time I get to read them is on Shabbos. The new “cookbooks” like Pinterest, and Foodgawker are so advantageous because you can search for the base ingredient, or type of food and you will get a wide variety of recipes.
When I saw this cauliflower pizza crust trend online, I did not think that I’d be able to make a pizza crust out of cauliflower that would actually slice and pick up so easily. Its gluten-free, carb free, healthier and kosher for Passover, just a genius idea. By the third day of Pesach I can’t even look at another matzah pizza. I get so sick and tired of matzah.
I consider myself adventurous in the kitchen, and I love trying new things, but there’s always going to be those old recipes that you keep making over and over again. This tuna melt is my mom signature lunch meal every Pesach. It’s filling and loaded with flavor. Best part is that it’s so quick and easy to make. Even my kids gobbled it down.
I used Temp-Tee cream cheese for both pies because this cream cheese has the best flavor and I love its creamy/fluffy consistency.
